Oggl vs Hipstamatic - Lenses and film
During the last few days using Oggl, I have noticed the lens / film combinations are not quite the same as they are in Hipstamatic.
Jane lens for example - my everyday lens - gives a nice even tone with very minimal filtering applied. The Jane lens in Oggl however has heavy vignetting and overexposes the centre of the image. The same is also true for the John S lens. The Oggl lenses seem to exaggerate and cheapen their Hipstamatic counterpart.
I decided to take a few test shots using both Oggl and Hipstamatic in the same situation. Here is what I found.
John S lens - Ina’s 69 film

Jane lens - Ina’s 82 film

John S lens - BlacKeys B+W film

Apple’s iCloud silently trashing innocent emails

Try sending an email containing just the following words (in any combination, without any formatting):
exploded pieces instant jaws
It will not send.
Remove any one of those words and it will send just fine.
iCloud email filtering?

My daughter is trying to email some school homework to me. No matter how many times it’s sent I never receive it. She can send other email fine. The email appears in her Sent folder.
Here’s the text:
Then the shark appeared and I threw an explosive into his mouth and shot him rapidly! He exploded into tiny little pieces and was dead in an instant!
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Hooper rise from the sea and climbed into my boat! I wasn’t alone!
We had killed the shark and I had made a little boat so Hooper and I could go back to land and tell everyone it was safe and the shark is dead! And that was the end of Jaws.
